Welcome to all. If you are finding out about us for the first time, or just curious, perhaps we should explain who we are. We are a full-time business specializing in railroad videos. We have been producing quality videos since 1984, but we have been taking pictures since the mid-1950's as a youngster. Although dad worked on the New Haven and Long Island Railroads during W.W.II as a tower operator he was more of an enthusiast which led to our fondness for steam locomotives. As mom used to say I was chasing trains while still in the womb! |
For years we traveled around to see the end of steam on this continent,
then overseas when steam was gone in North America. Steam excursions in the
U.S. were a focus in the late 1960's through the 1980's. Today, we have
a vast variety of products to offer, ranging from steam excursions to Amtrak
travel videos and contemporary railroading.
We currently use our own professional camera gear, and a state-of-the-art
editing equipment. Prior to owning our own editing equipment we used
professional editing facilities for our products to insure a quality job.
Over the years we have learned to adapt to the "real world" by covering a
wide variety of subjects to please an ever-growing diverse audience of
customers. While our main interest has always been steam locomotives we
have grown to appreciate the modern railroading, and enjoy the creativity
that can be accomplished with this type of everyday railroading. It's
always easier to try for certain shots when you know there will be another
train along, versus doing a mainline steam trip where you get one attempt at
everything.
In 1994 we were involved with the award-winning "America By Rail"
series. These Amtrak journeys are geared toward a general audience, yet all
train lovers seem to like them extremely well. The first tape, "The
Heartland" was advertised nationally in U.S. Weekend of the Sunday papers
for several months among other places, and has become one the best selling
train videos ever produced.
As you can see we offer a wide selection of products that should be
pleasing to a variety of customers. We are excited by the Internet
revolution and believe it is a great way for those around the globe to find
