Enjoy a cab ride in an AMD-103 (Genesis) powering the California Zephyr through some of the finest scenery in North America from Denver to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Colorado Rockies never looked better from this interesting vantage point up front with the engine crew. The view is mostly straight-ahead with occasional side views or views of the engineer starting the train.

Tape 2: Moffat Tunnel To Bond - We continue the journey from the west portal of Moffat Tunnel, traveling through the Rockies. Station stops are made at Fraser and Granby, Colorado and the scenery changes from alpine to canyons. Canyons include Fraser, Byers, and Gore as we follow the Colorado River to Bond, Colorado. We also pass one eastbound train.

Tape 3: Bond To Glenwood Springs - Tape three begins at Bond as we take the Dotsero cutoff and pass through some changing scenery including Red Canyon, and of course the famous Glenwood Canyon along the Colorado River, before arriving at the station in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. We also pass the eastbound version of our California Zephyr, train #6, plus a freight at Glenwood Springs.
